In most MS Windows operating systems you would need to click on the Start menu, click on Shut Down or Turn Off and then press Restart. In case where your computer is frozen and you are unable to access the Start menu, you will need to press down the power button(usually for about 5 seconds), on your desktop or laptop, to shut it down manually. Then, wait 10 seconds and press the power button again to start it back up.
